most embarrassing moment

Abi's fabulous 2nd grade teacher has finished a fun writing project with the class.
One part of the project was to write about their most embarrassing moment.  Remember, all the naughty words are totally usable for this project (fart, booger, wedgie, etc).
My most embarrassing moment?  There are so many from which to choose.
I have publicly humiliated myself.
My kids have embarrassed me.

But my most embarrassing moment has to be when I was very, very pregnant with Hannah.  It was Christmas Eve and I was 10 days from my due date.  I had my weekly doctor's appointment scheduled for late morning.  Prior to going to my appointment, I ran some errands for my office.  It had snowed the night before and the snow was melting.  The bottoms of my shoes were pretty wet.  I had to make a quick stop at the city building.  There are about 8 cement steps going down into the city building.  My feet slipped out from under me and I landed very hard at the bottom of the stairs.  Ouch!  I'm not sure which hurt most - my bum, my right elbow or my pride.

Of course, there were two men who happened to see me bump down the stairs.  I tried to get up as quickly as a very pregnant woman can get up and pretend that it was no big deal.  I definitely left my dignity laying at the bottom of the stairs.  I went on about my business but began to notice my pants were soaked and I was hurting in a lot of places.

I went on to my doctor's appointment after my big splash.  I explained to the doctor what had happened.  I told him I was afraid my water had broken when I fell.  He said he would do a thorough examination and could test whether or not my water had broken.
The good news - my water did NOT break when I fell.
The bad news - my bladder was full before I fell.
Yes, I wet my pants.
How nice of my doctor to deliver such news.
It wasn't enough to be embarrassed at the bottom of the stairs.  I was even more embarrassed at the doctor's office.

As it turns out, I also cracked my right elbow so I did get some sympathy out of the deal.  My body and pride were both very sore.  I had to play up the broken elbow to save my reputation :)

What is your most embarrassing moment?
